Norman earns All-American at Junior Nationals

LINCOLN, Neb. - Tim Norman wrestled second, one of six Oregon State wrestlers who placed, to earn All-America honors at the FILA Greco-Roman Junior Nationals, held May 18-20.

Norman (Newberg, Ore./Newberg HS), who just finished a reshirt season at OSU, reached the finals at 138 pounds before being defeated. OSU teammate Clint Sieminski (Sweet Home, Ore./Sweet Home HS), who recently completed his freshman season, placed seventh at 138 pounds.

At 152 pounds, redshirt Steve Garcia (Cypress, Calif./Brethren Christian HS) placed seventh. At 167 pounds, freshman Jed Pennell (Cave Junction, Ore./Illinois Valley HS) placed third and freshman Paul Rademacher (Chiloquin, Ore./Chiloquin HS) placed seventh. At 213 pounds, freshman John Winters (Missoula, Mont./Hellgate HS) placed fourth.
