Modern Sex: Privilege, Communication, and Culture
On February 15-16, the Intercultural Student Services and the Office of LGBTQ Outreach and Services hosted Modern Sex: Privilege, Communication, and Culture.
This conference was organized and led by OSU students with faculty and staff support. We challenged over 200 participants to examine the individual and collective struggles inherent to the entanglements of sexuality with the social and cultural systems of sex, gender, race, and class. The emphasis of this conference on communicating and understanding diverse perspectives around sexuality was throught through workshops, guided facilitations, lectures, and film screenings.
