Workforce Services : Range from self-service to individualized assistance and may include Assessment/Career Planning, Job Search Assistance, Occupational Skills Recruitment, Employee Assistance, Job Placement Assistance, Job Retention Service, Employer Designed Customized Training, Work Experience/On-the-Job Training. Services are tailored to individual plans. Eligibility requirements based on income and/or dislocated worker status.
YouthBuild Program : YouthBuild CSC is a comprehensive training program that serves low income and undereducated people ages 16-24. The training period averages 10-12 months. Trainees earn a modest living stipend while they work toward their GED or high school diploma. They learn construction skills by building affordable housing for homeless or low-income people. Emphasis placed on leadership development, community service, and life success skills, such as living drug free and budgeting time and money. Eligibility requirements apply.
