A Bit About Me
This is my first term in the College of Business. Prior to this I was employed at HP here in Corvallis as an Engineer until last December when I was laid off. Thanks to all the wonderful taxpayers in this great county I'm being paid to go to school full-time; actually as part of NAFTA TRA program. I will be earning a Professional Certificate in Accounting and a B.A. in Business Admin. I enjoy biking, rafting, playing basketball, fishing and heavy metal music. My last concert was KORN at the Rose Garden a month or so ago... My interest in biking inspired this WIKI plan. I don't really fit the "Standard" student profile in that I'm older, I have an 11-year-old son and I already have a degree and a short career... That's about it...

I am really impressed with the page that you have created. It is great that you have expanded past just hiking trails to include hiking tips and advice. I also think that the pictures add a great touch. I think that it would be helpful if you highlighted a special asset that each trail has or something about it that makes it stand out. Also if you could bold or separate the skill level of each hike, and if there are any necessary supplies that need to me taken for the hike those should be included as well. I think that the content so far is great and its nice to see that you have really put some effort into this project. I would only suggest some organizational improvements right now (i.e. having the location and directions in a separate paragraph near the top, the skill level and supplies needed separate from the rest of the text, etc.)

Excellent job so far! You have made a great start and I am really looking forward to see how far you will take this wiki. I agree that once you begin to explain the hiking trails a little more then the page will become more usable. Please let me know if I can do anything to help. And once again great job!

You have gotten a great start. I really like that you have included an introductory paragraph about Corvallis Bike Paths & Hiking Trails page and what it entails. Also you have done your homework and found a review site which is very helpful. My only real suggestion at this point is to maybe mention what the review site is, so others know you are using it. You have done an excellent job so far, keep up the good work!

I like how the Bike Paths & Hiking Trails page is coming together. The information on poison oak is excellent to know for anyone interested in hiking and the outdoors but not accustomed to some of the dangers. It looks like someone has added some good information about additional bike paths and trails, and has included some pictures of the paths and trails, which adds a lot to the page. The only thing I would recommend further would be to find some additional information for some of the other trails listed, as I mentioned in the previous post. Otherwise, nice job.

It looks like your Bike Paths & Hiking Trails page is coming together nicely. One tip would be to add some more information to the list of trails to give readers a feel for what each trail is like and where each is located. From reading your planned contributions, though, it sounds like you're going to be doing this, so it should all work out well. Good job thus far.

I think your wiki idea of writing bike path and hiking trail reviews is a good one. I see you've already got the section set up from the main page of the OSU wiki, and there are already some paths and trails set up for reviews, and links to a couple of them. If it's possible, maybe you could set up links to each that gives a map of where each trail is. It looks like a good start to me.

Your plan and pages look really good, the pictures of the area's was a very nice touch, you are very informative when it comes to the poison oak, and the other non biking specifics that are nice to know about the area's people will be going to.
