Behind the Glory
My name is Kyle and I am twenty years old. I am an active member and a Rush Chairman at my fraternity, Lambda Chi Alpha. I was born in Southern California and moved to Portland, Oregon when I was five years old. I graduated with honors from Jesuit High School, but decided to stay close to home. All spring and summer I will be paying close attention to my favorite baseball team, THE Los Angeles Dodgers. I am a business major, but not quite sure what my concentration is quite yet. My Wiki Plan
My Wiki plan is to put more quality information on the Wiki for my fraternity. I am a member and one of the Rush Chairman of Lambda Chi Alpha fraternity, and the Oregon State Wiki is a great way to spread information about our house. I will create separate sections in the Wiki about all facets of our fraternity. There will be sections on what makes our house and our brotherhood unique, scholarships, philanthropy involvement, and rush activities.
My Overall Wiki Contributions
My goal was to improve my fraternity's section on the Oregon State Wiki. Initially, all it had filled in was a generalized statement and a contact number, but now we are working to make it the most complete fraternity wiki on campus. It turns out one of my fraternity brothers chose the same Wiki plan as I, so we have combined forces. Seeing he is the Intramural Sports Manager at our chapter, he is extremely well informed on IMs as well as many other areas. I am one of the Rush Chairmen of our fraternity, so my area of expertice is getting a lot of information about rush and rush events on the Wiki. The two of us combined will be able to make this Wiki as good as it can be.
- I reformated our section of the Wiki first by making the chart of general information about our national fraternity.
- I placed the list of our chapter's officers for our Wiki
- I also fixed a typing error on the How to Become an OSU Greek page
- I added information about Spring Rush Week

Great job on adding information to the Lambda Chi Alpha page. You added a lot of information for students to learn more about your house. I enjoyed how you entered information about your IM teams. Well, it looks like you did exactly what was needed for the Lamda Chi page to be succestful. Great Job! If your looking for something else to add, you should click on the Random Page link on the right side of the page and see if there is anything you can add to those random pages.

In your Wiki Plan you gave really good ideas about what to add to the OSU Wiki. I think that you clearly stated what information you want to add about Lamda Chi Alpha. However, it looks like while you gave a lot of detail in your plan, you seemed to stop at that. It looks like you haven't made any contrabutions to anything besides your mytalk page. If you go to the Greek Life page, there should be a Lamda Chi Alpha heading under the fraternity selection. My advice is to go there and start adding information. Good Luck!

What's up Kyle, this is AJ from SigEp's. I was looking over your Wiki Plan and compared it to your contributions. I think that what you did throughout the wiki is dead on with what you wanted to accomplish for this assignment. All of your contributions are of a higher quality than most everyone elses. You might want to go a little more in depth with the last part of your Wiki Plan. I saw smaller bits of information for each of the sections, but I know you would want people to know more. I think that overall your contributions are very good and deserve a great grade.
