My Wiki Plan
I plan on making a page that students can use to sell or buy textbooks from student to student. Students can make a posting of what books they are selling or what books they need. This will help students who are trying to sell books they have used to students who need those books. Because when you sell books back you make a small fraction of what you paid for it, and students who need the book can buy it cheaper and get it sooner. I also want to add a page about scholarships. About different scholarships that are offered and how to find scholarships.
About Me
I'm Allison Robertson, but I go by Allie. I'm a sophomore majoring in Business with an option in Marketing, and minoring in Communications. I'm orginally from Bend. I live off-campus in a house with two of my best friends.
Personal Contributions
- I first contributed to the Textbooks link on the main page. I added information about selling your textbooks online and how to go about doing that. I also added external links where you can sell and buy books from.
- I added a page with information about Scholarships.
- I added sub-headings with information about scholarships that are from OSU, Federal programs, and private organizations. Also information about scholarships and grants. I added links to Frequently Asked Questions about scholarships, as well as a link to OSU Financial Aid and Scholarships Page.
- I added links to external sites that offers scholarships.

You have added a lot of detail to the OSU Wiki and all of the work that you have done seems to be very well structured, and the work on Scholarships is good but I found one problem with a link 2006 College Scholarships which should be fixed to 2006 College Scholarships. The page that you have created on Textbooks is as well very well structured and has great significant to the OSU Wiki for college students, but the one thing that I noticed on all your work is that there are some spelling errors besides that everything you have done is great.

I think that the idea is going to be very usefull but you should get started as soon as possible, this is just a start to what we have to complete by the end of the term.

I really think that you are on to something here I have wanted to sell my books to other students and have had no idea where to go, so as of your Wiki idea it is a great one I can't wait to see what you come up with for your contributions. I would also consider adding an uplink to a site that sells new books for good prices as well.

This is something that all students at Oregon State University will find attractive. How many times during your college career did you feel ripped off by the prices of books, or bought the wrong books, or just there wasnt any left. It would be much easier if we could just find another student to buy a book from maybe cheaper than the bookstore, or sell our books to. Keep up the good work, and my advice is to just get started you are already going in a good direction.

You have really put some good information into your wiki since the last time I checked. I like the fact that you added information on scholarships as well as just textbooks. It is nice to have additional information in that area. Adding external links makes it easier to find outside information other than what you have contributed. Keep up the good work!

These are two very good ideas. But i think the scholarships idea is the one that will help out the most people in this school because it seems that no body ever knows where to go to find scholarships or how to apply for them. I think you need to collect all scholarships and present them on this page by emailing every place that hands them out.

All of these links that you have added are a great contribution to the wiki page. This will make it more accesable for others to find scholarships without looking so hard that they eventualy give up. Great job.
