Introduction
My name is Carlos Penaflor, I'm currently a full-time Junior here at OSU enrolled in the Business program. I originally hail from San Jose, California, and moved to Oregon when I was ten. My hobbies consist of watching movies, reading non-fictions, and eating. Overall, I love meeting new people, and hope to succeed in this course.
My Wiki Plan
My contribution to the OSU wiki will focus on supplying simple recipes for the typical OSU college student away from home. For many of us, college life can provide an overwhelming amount of freedom that influences our studies, social life, and eating habits. Rather than always settling for the occasional Friday night pizza or the ever so popular "Panda Express", why not try and think outside the fortune cookie. In this wiki, I will research quick recipes and ideas that will help everyday college students acheive a cheaper more healthier approach to their college diet. Furthermore, my wiki will include meal ideas directed towards activities that most or all college students will experience, such as: tailgating events, study group sessions, breakfasts on the go, late night snacks... etc.
Overview of my wiki contributions
My main goal is to add highly useful information about student health on campus. More specifically, I plan to focus my main attention on why many students struggle to manage a healthy diet. I'm sure we call all agree, that by being a college student, a healthy diet can be difficult to maintain. Within the health section, I plan on explaining more about this issue, along with providing affordable and easy recipes to get our college diet back on track.

This is a great idea that is very creative and can be useful to students. I think that by adding a section in the wiki specifically connecting meals to student events, such as tailgaters, will be more relevant to the OSU wiki. It may also be a good idea to talk about easy meals that can be made in the dorms, rather than always eating at the dining halls.

I think that you have done a great job adding information about health on and off campus. You had some great recipies and suggestions for students. The Shape magazine link did not work saying that there was an error.

I really like this idea. I know next year when I live off campus I will be looking for easy to make recipes. This would be a great way for students to share recipes with each other.

I really like the recipes that you added. I know that I am going to be making a few of them myself. It is really nice to have a place to find recipes for healthy living. Adding recipes that will be good in the sun was a really good addition. With the summer coming up it will be nice to have something to help us keep cool.

I think that you did a great job adding the recipes. My only suggestion would be to add some pictures, every one likes pictures. Other than that great job.
I think that you have a great start to your wiki plan. I like how you are planing to break up the recipes into different meals. You might want to think about putting in prices for each of the meals that you are going to make. With these ideas I think that you are going to have a very helpful wiki.
