My Wiki Plan

My goal for the OSU Wiki is to help further develop certain areas of my interest, such as the Dixon Recreation Center and the APASU Club. I am also willing to help post graphics for particular sections to give underdeveloped sections some nice 'eyecandy' and contribute/edit whatever I can to improve the OSU Wiki Community.

Individual Contributions

  • Added a Music section
  • Created an Upcoming Events section
  • Added a list of clubs in the Clubs section to get things started... these include College of Agriculture, College of Business, and APASU / VSA for Diversity
  • Wrote up the recipe for the Tex-Mex Casserole (it's good)
  • I wrote two ratings in Rate your Professor for Mark Elton and Daniel Lykins in the Business section
  • Added the link to the OSU Valley Library on the Libraries section
  • Posted a drinking game called Annihilation in the Drinking Games section, along with a link to a drinking game site

    Your Wiki Plan seems kind of "brief". Maybe you can elaborate more on what you plan on contributing. Also you should take a look at Daves announcements. He added some new sections to what is supposed to be on our mytalk page, such as and "about me" section. You might want to add what kind of things for Dixon you plan on adding. Like what events are being held at Dixon..etc.

    You have contributed a great deal of information to the wiki. I didn't see anything in there about Dixon like you said you were going to contribute in you "Wiki Plan". Maybe you should add some events going on at Dixon or maybe hours of operation! I know people like hearing about Dixon a lot. Everything else looks really really good. I think you did a great job of contributing to the wiki!

    It looks like you made a variety of good contributions to different Wiki pages. I appreciated the page about upcoming events at clubs. Putting a list of events going on at different places on a single page saves time. The only thing I'd have to say is to change the link to the Drinking games page to the actual page instead of the place to edit it. Good contributions though!

    The idea for your Wiki sounds very informative as I enjoy going to Dixon, however I would definitely be more specific with what exactly you want to do. For what 'particular sections' are you going to post graphics for? I was a little confused. It sounds like a great idea though.

    You have added a great deal to your wiki. I don't see many things about Dixon and your contributions for that. Also, you need to change your contributions page to show the difference of things that you have added to your wiki. There is an example of it on the class website. But, I think you did a great job on you wiki and I think it will help a lot of people.

    I feel that the Wiki you want to produce has a lot of potential. OSU is full of many active people who use Dixon as a recreation center. I don't really understand what you mean by "eye candy" but either way, I think it will be great. I hope to hear a lot from you and hope the Wiki does great!
