A little bit about me
Tyler Koczy is now online the OSU Wiki, celebration commences. I am a sophomore in Business marketing and have recently decided to minor in anthropology as I have a real interest in studying how people work. In my free time I spin records and scratch; I am a DJ. I like to workout, longboard, surf, party on weekends, spin music, and cook. I am looking forward to seeing this Wiki come along and how it will turn out when people are really involved in this project.

My Wiki Plan
My wiki plan involves numerous areas.
- I am planning on completing a large list of professors from around the campus that are from all different subject areas and get opinions and ratings up for each.
- I plan to complete a full restaurant list and rate all restaurants on a specific scale according to a college student.
- I plan to complete a full list of on-campus living that collaborates all personal info gathered from my own experiences and those of other students.
My personal contributions
I have already made many changes to the OSU Wiki. I am constantly correcting and updating the BA271 and OSU Wiki.
- I have completed a list of departments at OSU and a Rate Your Professor page
- I have completed preliminary design and started the Restaurants Corvallis page. I have contributed immensely to this page with reviews of almost half of the restaurants.
- I have added a Rate the Dorms page dedicated to dormitories that lets users input their opinions about the on-campus living. I added an opinion of my own to each dorm, as I have many past experiences with them all.
- I completed a page for Covey Row Townhouses and some edits to the Housing page
- I added a Landlords page to the Housing page and added even more information to the housing page.Billing systems and Cleaning

--Koczyt 18:33, 28 April 2006 (PDT)I have added reviews on a number of restaurants around Corvallis as I said I would in my Wiki Plan. The restaurant pages in this wiki are really coming along, as there are mulitiple students working together on this.

Lareg111 This sounds like a great idea, I had some bad professors in the past and I wish someone would have told me about them. It sounds like you have a good start keep going.Mentor #1 part 2 larseeri You haven’t made any contributions about the professors on campus, but you have made some good information for incoming freshman. I would focus now on the professors on campus.

Ideas from sometime in March or maybe it was April either way i didn't get points for putting the date and time. :( I agree with Mentor #1. you have a good idea going. I really also wish i would have known in the past to not take classes from certain professors. Especially because all of them teach in a certain style which some people enjoy and others don't. I also think the restaurant idea is good too. i am always excited to go to a new place and if lots of people end up giving good reviews to a a certain place i would want to go try it out. It would also be cool if the restaurant idea had a place for pricing. Like it showed that it is really cheap but also really good. And for the professor area maybe a part could be over how easy was it to get a good grade. You definitely have a good idea though!
Ideas for May 16, 2006 9:54 PM I looked at your contributions page and saw a lot of changes to the restaurant wiki which is good because it was your plan. I didn't see as much professor rating even though it was your first idea. Maybe you are still working on that or decided you liked adding to the restaurant wiki instead. As far as i can tell i didn't see you adding anything about a certain professor. That might not have been your plan though but it could be nice. I only saw that you added some departments. From your plan i was thinking you were just going to give a list of teachers. I mean i like the wiki right now how it is though because it's not helpful to have a name with out information. Either way though i think you have done a good job with the restaurant idea. I really like your descriptions for some restaurants. It makes it helpful i think if i haven't been there and was interested in going. Anyways i think you added some good stuff and it all looks pretty good. :)

I concur with the other mentors that I like your plan. Their is a resturant web page already made up in the OSU WIki. you might check that out. The professor evaluations are a good idea. Students can look at the am see what other students thought of a certain teacher. Try to sample as many teachers as you can when you ask them about it. It will be helpful to you get their input about your plan. (lanre017)

I have looked at your contributions page. I belive that you put a lot of useful information about the resturants in this town to good use. I like the topic that you have choosen, it can effect a lot of people. I might suggest that you put a hyper link from you wiki page to the resturants page in the OSU wiki. A person can access it alot better and faster. Anyway keep up the good work, you are doing good in the contribution aspect to the OSU Wiki.
