My Wiki Plan

My plan is to try encorporating things that I can speak on with a certain level of knowledge. I plan on adding and re-organizing information on the OSU Wiki for:

The existing Rugby Club page

Adding a page about my German Professor, Herr Stehr (with his approval)

Creating a page for Europa-Kolleg, a language institute in Germany that I attended this summer which could be an alternative to studing abroad

Adding information about my home town/county in Wiki travel

This information will be relevant to other students, people and wiki-ers because I know a little about it but it is not listed in any wiki that I have found. I believe that is, in short, the point of a wiki: to collaboratively author and share information for public knowlegde.

My Wiki Contributions

I started by adding to a page in the Rate Your Professor page about a professor of mine in the German department. This page was already existing but contained some personal opinions phrased in an "I" voice, so I edited those and added some background information as well. I then added a page in the Study Abroad page talking about alternatives to studing abroad through OSU. This was the bulk of my contributions and talked mostly about the advantages of language institutes.

Here is the Alternatives to Studying Abroad page. As I added it as a new page, the link does not go to the differences page but rather the page itself.

As was stated in my plan above, i think this information will be relevant to other students, people etc. and I believe I have added at least some value to the OSU wiki.
