All About Me
To all of those that don't know me, I thought that I might explain a little bit about myself so you understand what I'm all about. I am a sophomore here at Oregon State University majoring in Business, minoring in hopefully either music or HDFS with an option in Marketing. To me, coming to Oregon State was like a second home for me even before I moved here because my whole family are alumnis from here. My Mom and Dad both went to OSU, along with my brother, who was here for 2 of his four years. Coming here wasn't really that hard of a decision for me because if I were to ever go to U of O my dad would probably disown me. I have been involved with Choir since I was in the fifth grade and played the piano along with that. Music is a huge part of my life and without it, I wouldn't be where I am today. Hopefully one day you'll see me up on that Broadway stage, doing the thing that I love the most.
My Wiki Plan
My Wiki Plan is to inform people more about the different types of music and what the difference is between the different kinds of music that there are. I know that today many people only hear of types of music such as country, hip hop, rap, pop but what people don't understand is that there is so much more to music then that.
Not only will I help people learn of the different types of music but I want to talk about Broadway and the history of how it began. With this page I hope to show people the aspects of music that they maybe have never seen before. In my page I want to inform people of the history of music and show tell of my experiences with the different types of music. It will include websites to go to, where to get tickets for Broadway or musicals near here, and I want to have many different types of songs that other people maybe interested in listening to.
Websites that have Current Songs and Artists
Like many of you out there, I am always wondering what sort of different songs are out there. There are many different websites that can tell you the most recent songs out there. Here are a list of my favorite websites that help to show the most recent songs out there.
1. [[1]] Billboard's not only gives you videos to watch but it also has all the recent news and all different top songs for each genre.
2. [[2]] Jamminfm is not only good as a radio station but it also gives you a list of all the best rap and r&b songs out there. It offers all the best songs to start a dance party with.
3. [[3]] Not only does yahoo offer a way to search for certain websites, but it also provides several radio stations that allow you to listen to whatever type of music that you feel like. They offer every type of music that you can think of.
4. [[4]] MTV is one of the best channels out there for college students because it features almost all the music that college aged students listen to. They offer tons of things such as videos, news on current events with both celebrities and other events going on in the world today.
5. [[5]] As well as listening to all of the more current artists that do rap, there are many more types of music out there. Broadway has been around for a long time and it is something that takes a lot of talent to do. I have tons of respect for the people that do this for a living, I'm hoping that one day I will get the chance to experience it as they do. I think that it is also important to be able to see where it all started at. [[6]] CampBroadway is a website which tells of where Broadway began, and the road that it took to get where it is now.

Your Wiki plan sounds interesting ! Focus on the type of music that people are not familiar with. I would suggest putting up a link where people could also listen to old songs.[Old Songs]

Great job! You have added links in order for others to listen to it. I suggest maybe adding like 70's songs as well.

I think that is a good idea, the only problem is that you will have to find a place to add your information, because if you want to put stuff on the OSU wiki it would have to be about upcoming bands or the types of music students listen to here. The only hard part is to find a wiki that supports your ideas. Good start though!
I like what you have added. Nice work, it looks like you have been busy. The only thing that I would say is on the jokes page that you added to, just put your name next to the joke that you wrote in. Keep up the good work!

I like the idea about the broadway music. But I would also include European and hispanic musicals as well.

You have done a great job contributing to the OSU Wiki over the term thus far. The contribution that I liked the most was the dating wiki. I liked how you incorporated the ideas for the 15 dollar date and also the ideas about the romantic date ideas. One thing I would add on to supplement the 15 dollar date ideas would be 30 dollar date ideas. Moving to the romantic date ideas, I would add a new idea section called "fun and energetic date ideas." I think both of the options that I have given you about what you could add to give the dating wiki more depth are good ideas. I would like to see you add them into the wiki.
