The Soup Shop is located close to campus on Monroe next to Pinion Property Management.
Average Price
They have a great lunch special where you recieve a 12oz. soup of your choice, a fresh garden or fruit salad, and fresh bread for $6.25.
Atmosphere
The atmosphere is very relaxed with almost a bistro feel. They house small tables and a grape vine motif on the walls. They also have beautiful handpainted artwork on the walls that are for sale. Soup Shop has recently installed outdoor seating for 20+ people and it is never crowded. Great for spring season and really fun to sit out and watch people on Monroe.
Menu Selection and Recommendations
They have excellent soups of course, I recommend the beer and cheese. The sunrise soup is great as well. The soup salad and bread combo is a delicious balanced meal. They have excellent bread that you can buy by the slice, half loaf, or full loaf. They fresh cookies are delicious as well.

It is a great little shop, that doesn't get too crowded and it is easy to maintain a conversatin with your friends. It's a nice, relaxing place to catch a bite between classes or have a lunch date with a friend. The staff is all very friendly. You will leave this restaurant very satisfied feeling full of healthy, wholesome food.
