2006 Equipment Review
There are many different facets to the sport of skiing. One needs skis, poles, boots, and most likely....clothing! Each link on this page references you to equipment that would be suitable for the advanced and expert skier.
SKIS
racing
Racing skis are usually very stiff skis. They do not ride well on all-mountain terrain. Each of these skis are made for fast turn initiation, high speeds, and deep carves.
carving
Skis that are made especially for carving are always shaped skis. The skis listed below allow for easy but very fast turning and a responsive carving feeling.
freestyle
Freestyle skis are made for the skier looking for the big air! The skis listed below will allow for some of the biggest air of both jumps and in the pipe. They are also a great all-mountain ski.
POLES
Each of these poles are made of a fiberglass/carbon construction material which allows for a very strong pole. They all come with interchangeable baskets. They are the ultimate free-ride pole!
