Pre-Veterinary Medical Association

From OSU Wiki

The OSU Pre-Veterinary Medical Association (formerly known as the OSU Pre-Veterinary Club) is
a large student run organization that aims to increase its members knowledge about the field of
veterinary medicine. Meetings are held biweekly during the regular acedemic calender year and are
posted on the organizations webpage calender. Meetings usually provide members with guest speakers
from within the industry with insights on animal health and practices. These functions allow
members to network with current practitioners and educators. Student members are welcome to participate in club events such as trips to Marine Science
Center
, Winston Wildlife Safari, the Oregon Zoo, and the Oregon Coast Aquarium for a behind
the scenes look at the world of veterinary medicine onsite in each of these locations. These events
have typically drawn great interest from members, so if you are intersted in veterinary medicine
and find this an opportunity worth investigating, come out to a meeting of the OSU Pre-Veterinary
Medical Association. Meetings are posted in advance on the organizations website and listed in The
Daily Barometer
before each meeting.
