Pauling, Linus - 1923

From OSU Wiki

Linus Pauling (1901-1994), a 1923 OSU graduate and the only recipient of two unshared Nobel Prizes, (Chemistry, 1954; Peace, 1962) undertook a wide range of studies during his seventy-year career as a scientist, humanitarian and peace activist. In 1986 he donated the papers of he and his wife -- Ava Helen Pauling, also an OSU alum -- to the Oregon State University Libraries, where they now reside in the Special Collections department on the fifth floor of the Valley Library.
