Oregon State Computer Helpdesk (OCH)

What is OCH?

The OSU Computer Helpdesk is a "computer-assistance" service provided to the students, staff and faculty of Oregon State University. Support is available from 7 AM until 7 PM Monday thru Friday during the Fall, Winter and Spring terms, and from 7 AM to 6 PM Summer term. OCH is located on the 4th floor of the Valley Library.

How can OCH help you?

The OSU Computer Helpdesk is available by phone: (541)737-3474, Email and the Chat Tool. Through these tools, OCH offers support for various OSU services like Blackboard and ONID. OCH also supports a variety of software, such as the Microsoft Office suite. OCH offers "walk-up" laptop support in our offices on the 4th Floor of the Valley Library as well. Students, staff and faculty can bring their personal (not OSU owned) laptops to OCH and get hardware diagnosis and virus/spyware removal. OCH does not offer hardware repair, onsite visits or individual tutoring. In addition to these services, OCH provides each year the OSUWare CD, which includes many useful software programs for free to students, staff and faculty.
