Atmosphere
McGrath's has a typical chain restaurant feel to it. It is comfortable and the food is nice, but the personality and the intimacy is missing. It has warm low lighting and nice seats with fish and ocean decorations throughout the building. Their food isn't dissapointing, and most leave satisfied, but you don't leave with an experience.
Menu Selection and Recommendations
Although McGrath's specializes in fish, their menu has quite a varity of American favorites, including burgers and sandwhiches.
I recommend the Herb Crusted Salmon Salad. The penne pasta and artichoke's give the salad have an interesting twist.
Fish and Chips are always good with a bowl of clam chowder.
Additional Comments
I am personally not a big fan of chain restaurants, but McGrath's food is nothing to complain about.
It's tough to find good seafood inland, but McGrath's does a pretty good job.
