Get a License
You will need a license to crab.
The Oregon Department of Fish and Wildlife will tell you why you need a license, who needs one, and how much it costs.
You can purchase a shellfish license at any Point-of-Sale license agent that sells angling or hunting licenses. Wal-Mart in Newport can sell you one.
You must have the license with you when you are crabbing or you can be fined.
