Lane, Philip Sr. - 1941

Philip Lane Sr. was a spiritual leader for the National American Indian Science and Engineering Society starting in 1987. He was the organizer and sponsor of the Confederated Indian Tribes at the Washington State Penitentiary, which gave Native American inmates renewed pride and hope for a productive life. He received the Oregon Governor's Distinguished Volunteer Award in 1984.
