King, Jonathan
From OSU Wiki
Sum bitch! Is that crazy to say that about him? Like a fox, like a fox. But we'll come back to that later. For now, let's just say that 20 years ago this guy moved to Monmouth for reasons he can't remember. Nough said.
Crazy
I do believe that this is one of those quirky professors that you get once a year or so. His quizzes get monotonous, but at least there are no midterms, but I think that he gives us too many articles to read if he really wants us to learn the articles, he might want to reduce some of the readings. But the course is an easy A if you apply yourself, but then again so are almost all the business courses.
BA 350
I took BA 350 Spring of 2007. At first I thought the class was going to be boring and worthless. Yeah there are no midterms/finals. He has weekly quizzes that can be challenging and a grip of reading to do. Alot of the articles would drag on and some of the quiz questions were the items that you may consider unimportant as you're reading.
He did do a great job of really expressing the importance of the course. While his teaching ways are shared by everyone, he does get you to think. When taking the class you feel that this information is useless, but by the time you leave, something hits you (he has discussed this "something" and can't explain it) and you really do value the things he has taught. You also leave with a good sense of where you want to be later in life (really helps with thinking about ideal jobs).
Overall, the class is a good class. The articles have really good lines that you should take later with you. He is very expressive and excited as well as relaxed when he teaches. He does have a habit of bragging about all his life accomplishments everyday and also might seem very random sometimes. Overall I would take another course from him and enjoyed the class and the message that was left with me after I left.
