I.S.O.S.U.
From OSU Wiki
International Students at Oregon State University is an organization that strives to be a home-away-from-home to the roughly 1000 international students at OSU.
ISOSU brings together people from around the world in an effort to educate students and the community about international issues. It also offers a great chance for coming into contact with a variety of different cultures so that we may celebrate and appreciate the uniqueness of each other's experience. Anyone is welcome to join ISOSU!
Of course, we could never do all this without our affiliates, who support ISOSU, while also working on their own pursuits of higher education and cultural events. We currently have 12 university-recognized affiliations, though there are many more cultural groups on campus.
Our affiliates: ALAS - Association of Latin American Students ASA - African Student Association CAOSU - Chinese Association of OSU ESA - European Student Association Hmong - Hmong ISA - Indian Student Association IBP - Isang Bansang Pilipino JSA - Japanese Student Association PERMIAS - Persatuan Mahasiswa Indonesia di Amerika Serikat TRSA - Turkish Student Association TWSA - Taiwanese Student Association VSA - Vietnamese Student Association
Want to participate? ISOSU puts on several events every year, among which dance festivals, feasts and performances have proven to be very successful! Whether you like cooking, decorating, connecting with other campus groups, spreading awareness about an issue, or just meeting international students, ISOSU has opportunities as diverse as its members.
