Keep it short
If you have trouble with math I would recommend that you take 275 with Ping. He can explain things very well and is willing to help you during his office hours as much as you need. I got an A because he is a good teacher.
Ping-Hung Hsieh – BA275
This was one of my more favorite classes; it significantly resembles a 200 level math/statistics class. Ping-Hung Hsieh made this class semi-entertaining. His teaching tactics were very descriptive. He provided students with material and presentations from class (online) to students. His homework assignments and test were not too difficult. Time spent working outside of this class is minimal. When you have a question, whether in class or on homework, he is very helpful and explains thing clearly until you understand.
Class Rankings (10 being preferable)

When I enrolled in this class I was not looking forward to it because math was not one of my strong academic areas. By the end of the class I grew fond of it. I give most to all the credit to Ping-Hung Hsieh. His wanting his students to understand and apply these statistic applications was why I understood it. In class, he would go over material by using examples and would pace our learning to how well we understand it. It was helpful on the tests that he didn't throw any trick questions in and kept his tests doable. I also went to his office hours, which I found very helpful because he explained in a context that I could understand.
