Food
From OSU Wiki
- With this issue we decided from the very beginning on how we would tackle this issue. With all the common food like condiments, bread, milk, etc. we decided to split the costs. For everything else, everyone would buy their own food and keep it in separate sections of the fridge and cupboards. This worked pretty well for us. For dinners, we would all buy different things like boxed noodles (Pasta Roni, only cost $1 each), chicken or other meat, or Boxed Rice, and cook meals for all of us. This helped to keep food costs lower than if everyone were cooking for themselves.
- I live with five other girls in my house. The best way we found to label our food was to put fruits or vegetables in a large zip lock bag and write our name on them. For similar items such as milk cartons, we color coded them with the assigned sticker color. It seems to work well.
