Finance Class

I'm taking BA 340 with Mrs. Romero and she is a exceptional teacher; everyone should have her as a teacher. She is always funny in class making others laugh and getting us all involved. Romero asks lots of questions of the students and makes sure that she gets your name frist so that you actually feel like your getting some one on one attention. Make sure you don't have your cell phone on because if it rings you won't be happy. If your phone does go off you'll have to sing a little song, basically embarrass yourself. Her phone was on vibrate when it went off and she still had to sing a song for the class. Her tests are hard so I recommend you study hard for them but at the same time it's easier to understand everything because how she teaches. Overall she is a perfect example of what a teacher should be and I'm really glad I'm in her class.

Finance Club

This club has many different experiences and knowledge to gain from being a member of.

Each term we work on a project where we break into small groups and find stocks that we find interesting. We then find financial records for previous years and determine if the company is going to be a good investment for us in the future. Should we buy more of the company ? Should we sell what we own of the company ?
