Dr. J teaches both engr 201 Electrical Fundamentals I and engr 203 Electrical Fundamentals III. After taking engr 201 from him, I have to say he is my favorite professor. The best way to describe lecture is to simply go to one. He injects stories and personal anticdotes into his lecture. Normally I wouldn't be praising this type of lecturing, but the light-hearted and very hilarious lectures became the highlight of my day. The comedy in the classroom also made the material very easy to learn. Some engineering majors may be uneasy with electrical circuits, but Dr. J makes his techniques very clear and easy to follow. He took the book's cumbersome method for looking at op-amps and makes them into cake. The three tests were very straightforward. Midterms were three problems long with very few tedious calculations. If you have an opportunity to take a course with Dr. J, take it.
