About the College
For the fifth straight year, enrollments are up and demand for business courses continues to rise. Our MBA program is close to capacity and the new Masters of Business and Engineering program has been approved. Our undergraduate program continues to emphasize experiential learning, including internships and international exchanges, and provides a solid business management background. Our business minor is the most popular at OSU and entrepreneurship minor is teaching students a new way to think about business opportunities. We also have continuing education and certificate programs in force.
To significantly differentiate the college, we have several ancillary programs. Through both formal and informal curriculum, the Austin Entrepreneurship Program at Weatherford Hall is an entrepreneurial center where students, faculty and visiting professionals live, dine, learn and dream together in an incubator community. Our world-class Austin Family Business Program continues to provide workshops, focus on national research, and be a family business resource. Our Business Solutions Group provides internships to more than 50 students while providing software development and product testing expertise for companies like Hewlett-Packard, New Technologies Inc., the Oregon Department of Transportation and more. Finally, our BIT Extension program is piloting business and technology education in two counties in Oregon, the first pilot of its kind in the nation.
Whether you're a prospective student, current student, alumnus or business partner, check out what we are up to. It is an exciting time at the college and we're here to be a resource for business education.
