Bars/Pubs
McMenamins Pub and Brewery
There are several bars and pubs around town but none are quiet like McMenamins Pub and Brewery. Now that there is one open on Monroe (next to Urban Laundry), it is a close place to have good food and fun. The new location is two stories with pool tables on the second floor and an awesome collection of decorative sinks on the wall. McMenamins is an excellent place to catch up with old friends, or even make some new ones. There is a unique Irish pub meets a hip urban restaurant atmosphere at McMenamins on Monroe. They offer a variety of foods from traditional American burgers to delicious chicken burritos for around $6. They also offer a variety of specialty ale, wine and spirited drinks for those who are 21 years or older. If you want to get away from the campus, you should check out the McMenamins Corvallis, which is located at 420 NW 3rd St (off of Harrison Blvd.).
