Course Feedback
Marketing is very straight forward class, in reality all you need is common sense. Prof. Elton, who teaches the course often, adds alot of humor. Learning about marketing blunders in other cultures or horrible translations for advertisements is really funny sometimes.
This class is very entertaining and easy to make it through the whole two hours. I do recommend going to the lecture because the way he presents is great and a lot of the things that he says are not on the slides that you are able to print out. Overall I this course was very enjoyable.
Marketing is a very good class to understand. Professor Elton makes the class one of the most entertaining clasees I have ever taken. I would recommend you go to all the lectures, because many of his test questions, and quiz questions, are things he talks about in class. Overall, the class as whole is not the most challenging but it is not easy either. Go to lecture and read the book and you will make it through the class

I love this class...since it's my major, it's a good thing! But really, this class is very interesting with discussions about consumer behavior and the intensive thought process it takes just to put a product out on the market! Dr. McAlexander is very experienced and very knowledgable first hand with his experience in the real marketing world. He often incorporates his own stories into class, bringing the subjects to life. He also uses humor and wit to make the class really interesting. Midway in, he usually asks us to stand up and stretch, him standing on the counter--he usually offers a request for us to support the Beavers (usually football). This class is very interesting if you enjoy the consumer/people interaction side of business.

I took this class online; it is very easy to get behind if you didn’t read regularly. Each week you have to do a write up on an article provided by the instructor, as long as you make honest attempt you will get most of the points. There are two midterms and a final exam; the tests are relatively easy, as long as you keep up with the reading. Over all the class is structured very well for an online class, as long as you do what’s required you will be very successful.
