Amber Bonte, Executive Director of Task Forces

Description:

The main responsibilities that the ASOSU Executive Director of Task Forces has are to be responsible for the organization, administration, and coordination of ASOSU task forces. The position coordinates all the hiring within the task forces and with the projects coordinator, which assists all the task forces in planning their campaigns. The director assists all the task forces in outreach to programs including their constituencies and takes responsibility for their implementation. The position also requires all the coordinating for the every term ASOSU staff retreats. It is essential part of the job to assist task forces in the development and implementation of entry level programs as well as creating intern job descriptions and keeping them filled. It is mandatory to fulfill 20 hours per week during the academic year and 40 hours per week in the summer.

Lindsey Johnson, Executive Secretary

Description:

The main responsibilities that the ASOSU Executive Secretary has are to keep the organization as a whole running smoothly. The position does this through recording minutes of all executive committee meetings and staff meetings. Emails and archives out all executive committee and staff meeting minutes. Also schedules all staff meetings and executive meetings with the Vice President and creates and maintains list serves. The position also keeps an ASOSU scrapbook of the years activities and coordinates display boards for start and other promotional events for the organization. Anytime a staff member needs to reserve rooms, transportation, hotels, etc. this is the person in the ASOSU office to go to. This position requires during the school year 20 hours a week and 40 hours a week during the summer.

Matthew Tschabold, Executive Director of Finance

Description:

The position of the ASOSU Executive Director of Finance plays a major role in the organization. The main responsibilities of the position include maintaining and administering all ASOSU budgets and financial transactions. To assist ASOSU task forces and services with budget creation and implementation and administer staff payroll. The Director of Finance also needs to orient staff on the rules and regulations regarding expenditures. This position is required to spend 20 hours a week during the school year and 40 hours a week during the summer.

Michael Olson, Executive Director of Committees

Description:

The position of ASOSU Executive Director of Committees plays a vital role in the organizations team. The main responsibilities of the position are to recruit and appoint students to all ASOSU and OSU committees. To ensure the organization has a strong student voice by enforcing shared governance policy throughout campus and university committees. This position is the lead of all the ASOSU recruiting efforts and updates the committees handbook annually. It is mandatory for this position to fulfill 20 hours per week during the school year and 40 hours per week in the summer.

Stacy Thomsen, Executive Director of External Development

Description:

The position of ASOSU Executive Director of External Development holds many important roles in the organization. The first is to allocate the ASOSU health insurance subsidy, ASOSU graduate conference registration and the ASOSU childcare subsidy. This position outlines all the procedures to the allocation of all the subsidies. A major aspect of this position is to perform fundraising and donation efforts as needed by staff members. Which a major fundraiser put on by this position is the annual ASOSU golf tournament. It also assumes responsibility for services, programs and activities put on by the Experimental College and Saferide services. This position requires 20 hours a week during the school year and 40 hours a week during the summer.

Logan Welliver, Executive Director of Public Relations

Descriptions:

The position of ASOSU Executive Director of Public Relations is the most noticeable to the public. The main responsibilities for this staff role is to develop a positive image of ASOSU to the students and campus community of OSU. Once a term they publish a newsletter, called the Access, which lets the campus know of the accomplishments and activities of ASOSU. Daily the position consists of advertising all ASOSU events and subsidies, as well as maintaining a good working relationship with the student media and provide regular updates. This position is mandatory to fulfill 20 hours a week during the school year and 40 hours per week during the summer.

Judicial Branch

The Judicial Board of ASOSU is made up of five members. The Judicial Board job is to make sure that there is just process of any complaint brought up to this office.
