Expect to get a very nice quality meal, that is filling for 7-10$.
Food
Very good sushi. There are some nice bento dishes and some traditional Japanese foods(Udon noodles, sake, etc.).
Atmosphere
Interesting atmosphere. Isn't the typical sit down in chair and eat restraunt. You sit on bamboo pads with your feet under a dug out table. As to imitate the authentic Japanese eating style of sitting on your knees. Very fun to hang out with your friends and talk while enjoying an excellent meal.
Menu Selection and Recommendations
Aomatsu offers a wide variety of sushi as well as hot foods. My personal favorite is the sushi. If your new to sushi, may I suggest the 911 role. It is seriously the best thing there. Also the california rolls are good and the House roll. The best time to go to Aomatsu is around lunch time, so that you can take advantage of the Lunch Box special. It's about $7 and you get a lot of food.
