Kerry is a tough teacher, but he demands the best out of his students. I often found myself frustrated about the amount of energy that it took in order to produce work worthy of his check plus. I am a more critical reader and a more concise writer because of him. Kerry really knows the material so there is absolutely no chance of "fluffing" or "B.S.ing" your way through his class; you will have to read the texts. I would definitely take a class from him again if I had enough time and there was a reason for me to, but there isn't a reason. Any teacher that inspires you to work harder and interests you about the material is a good teacher and Kerry fits this standard.
