Drupal provides users complete control over URLs through aliasing. This feature is typically used to make URLs human-readable or easy to remember. As a gatekeeper, you can manage all of the URL aliases of the site. For convenience, there is a link in the navigation to this end.
On the URL aliases page is a list of aliases currently in use on your site. You can sort the list by the alias or the original system's reference. After each aliases, you have the options of editing or delete that particular alias.
At the top of the page is a tab for adding new aliases. This is an easy process, requiring just 2 fields to be filled out. The first is the existing system path and the second is the new URL alias. Hit the Create new alias button and you've got yourself a new URL alias.
You can also create multiple aliases for the same page. Simply create new aliases using the same system path and any of the new URL aliases will point the user to the same content. Though you can use multiple aliases for the same page, you cannot use the same alias to point to multiple pages.
