Equine Reproduction Workshop

December 12-15, 2007

An intensive four-day workshop on reproductive management of mares and stallions. Designed to help you achieve maximum reproductive efficiency.

• 16 hours Lecture on reproductive management of the mare and stallion including anatomy, physiology, hormones, estrus control, semen collection and evaluation, artificial insemination, behavior and problem stallions, management of pregnant and foaling mares, surgical correction of breeding problems.
• 16 hours Laboratory, hands-on experience doing semen collection, evaluation, and artificial insemination. Mare exams including speculum, culture, biopsy, endoscopy, and palpation. Attendees are encouraged to participate, not just watch, during these practically oriented laboratories.

Fee: $575.00

Includes notebook, lecture and laboratory materials, one lunch and coffee breaks.

Limited to 20 people (horsemen or veterinarians) to allow maximum laboratory experience and ample opportunity for questions and discussions.

Registration Deadline:
December 1, 2007. Registrants will be sent confirmation upon receipt of a $75 deposit (nonrefundable). Maps, parking permits, and a listing of local motels also will be mailed at that time.
