OSU hires a new wheat breeder.

If wheat breeding were a relay race, the land grant all-star team would include Foote, Kronstad, Peterson and now Zemetra.

Andrew Ross, OSU Cereal Chemist (CSS and FST) has been named the winner of the 2012 American Association of Cereal Chemists International Excellence in Teaching Award.  The award will be presented at the early October AACCI annual meeting in Hollywood, Florida.  Dr. Ross is being recognized for his tireless dedication and creativity in teaching university classes on starch and polymer food chemistry as well as for his renown in teaching miller, bakers and cereal growers about the wonders of cereal chemistry.  Congratulations Andrew!
