Theresa Hogue is internal communicators coordinator with OSU News & Communications. Her responsibilities include internal communications such as writing, editing and photography for LIFE@OSU, and writing and posting to OSU Today, as well as some external writing, including coverage of campus events as well as the College of Education and OSU Libraries.
Before coming to OSU in December 2008, Hogue was a reporter for the Corvallis Gazette-Times. A second-generation Oregonian, Hogue has a degree in English literature with a minor in professional writing from Portland State University.
In addition to her work at OSU, Hogue is involved in several community projects. She was a volunteer with SMART (Start Making a Reader Today) for 12 years, and volunteered through the program in one of Lincoln School's bilingual kindergarten programs. She is currently president of the Board of Directors for Heartland Humane Society and actively involved in their annual Wine & Whiskers auction. She enjoys biking to work, spending time in her garden and tending to her flock, which includes a son, a dog, and a cat. Her partner Joseph is a faculty member at OSU.
