University Housing & Dining Services (UHDS) is seeking a Food Service Coordinator for the late night Food2You program. The purpose of this position is to provide leadership, guidance and direction to the dining staff, under the supervision of the Assistant Manager, to ensure menu items are prepared properly using prescribed cooking methods as well as care in sanitation and safety, and to ensure that students and customers receive the highest levels of service. This position assumes the supervisory responsibility of the Dining Center in the absence of the Assistant Manager, particularly evening, and weekend shifts as well as covering assistant manager days off and vacations. This position serves as a member of a team that will plan and facilitate the late night Food2You delivery program to the UHDS residence halls.Minimum qualifications: two years of experience in a large scale commercial, hospital, or institutional food service operation with responsibility for maintaining required productions levels, preparing simple food for volume dining, and providing knowledge of the materials and equipment used in a volume dining/food service facility.
UHDS is seeking three full-time, academic-year (10-month) Cook 1 positions for University Housing & Dining Services at Oregon State University. Starting wage is $11.85 per hour plus benefits.
