General Information

Summer session students are invited to live in the residence halls during the sessions they are enrolled at OSU.

Room Types: West International Hall provides residents with suite style rooms, with two double/single rooms sharing a bathroom. Washers and dryers are available and no coins or tokens are necessary.

Accessible rooms are available. Please complete the Special Needs Request Form, and submit online.

Housing and meal plan charges will be billed to each students university account. Room and meal charges are calculated on a per-day basis, from Sunday through Saturday.

Dining Options

Summer session meal service is provided at Marketplace West and Bing's Café in Weatherford Residential College through the regular 11-week session, June 23-September 5. Dining in Marketplace West will be available for brunch and dinner Saturday and Sunday, and breakfast, lunch and dinner Monday through Friday. Bing's will be open Monday through Friday for breakfast and lunch. Convenience items are also available at the Country Store located at Arnold Dining Center Monday through Friday.

All summer session students will have a meal plan equivalent to the Preferred academic year meal plan, with the option to add money to their cards at any time. The meal plan functions as a debit balance account, essentially a prepaid credit card. The meal plan provides a specified amount of meal credit dollars to "purchase" meals. Meal credit dollars reflect the food cost portion of your room and meal plan package, and are not the total price you pay for the meal plan. Meal plan credit dollars are valid in Marketplace West, Bing's and the convenience store at Arnold Dining Center.

Meal plans end after lunch at the end of the eleven-week session, on September 5. University Housing and Dining Services may continue to be open on a cash basis until the beginning of fall term.
