'God Will Send Us Angels'
This is a simple story about a young woman named Dianne Finklein, known to her family as "Princess Di" and to her friends as "Diva Di." Her entire life was that of pure and unconditional love. She respected everyone she ever met and even those who knew her for only a short time found it impossible not to cherish her in return.
On Jan. 9, 2001, this exquisite individual slipped away from the bondages of earth and touched the face of God, leaving everyone who loved her unbelievably heart broken and forever changed.
Dianne wasn’t a complicated or terribly larger-than-life person when she lived, although her six-foot stature and pearlized head of cotton candy hair tended to dominate even the simplest of settings. It was with her passing that the distinction surfaced about how much she affected countless lives with her amazing generosity of spirit and her never failing, steadfast devotion to every single human being she ever met.
Dianne exuded an infectious sense of humor and imparted a feeling of fun and delight everywhere she went. It didn’t matter if it were a glorious New Year’s Eve celebration with the likes of the president of the university in sumptuous surroundings, or the back yard of a neighbor she’d only just met, she was as much at home with a perfect stranger as with an old and treasured friend.
