Care Packages & Other Ways to Show you Care

Brighten your student's day with a variety of care packages fit for any occasion: birthday, mid-term or finals week, or, "just thinking about you" goodies.

Welcome Kits & Finals Care Packages

Welcome Kits are offered to give your student a little extra support when they arrive on campus. Usually two options are offered:

• Contains about a dozen items useful to college students, like highlighters and a laundry bag.
• Contains snack food items and study tips.

The National Residence Hall Honorary (NRHH) students deliver these welcome kits and also receive the proceeds from the sales. This student organization is affiliated with the Residence Hall Association (RHA) and recognizes student leaders for their work in the residence halls. The group works with the Campus Fund Raisers company to bring this program to our campus.

The Finals Care Package program, sponsored by the Residence Hall Association (RHA), occurs twice each year. This group of elected student leaders work with the Campus Fund Raisers company to order and supply these care packages. The proceeds from these programs go to support programs and activities for your student living in the residence halls.

You'll receive an order form during the middle of each semester providing you with options for different care packages. You'll return the order form directly to the company, but students from OSU deliver them to your student. They are usually delivered a few days before final exams begin.

Give Your Student Something to Sleep On...

The Linen Program, sponsored by the Residence Hall Association, provides one stop shopping for all of your bedding needs while giving your student the opportunity to coordinate their room with roommates over the phone! The Linen Program offers coordinating extra-long bed linens, comforters, and towels as well as the other products designed to complete your room. With economical Value Packages offering the most requested items bundled together, ordering has never been so easy or discounted. This hassle-free shopping will not only save you time and help you avoid frustration, but it also supports a good cause. All of the proceeds go directly to benefit programs and activities designed for all residence hall students. Mailings are typically sent in June and again in late July providing students and parents with opportunities to order. While these linens are designed for extra long twin size beds, they also fit on regular sized twin bed mattresses too. Extra long sheets that are purchased in various retail stores should also work on our beds.
