Apartment Transfers
If you have lived at Orchard Court for a minimum of 6 months, you can submit a request to transfer from your current apartment to a different apartment in the complex. Transfer requests are evaluated on a case-by-case basis and are not guaranteed to be approved. If your request is approved, you will be charged a $200 transfer fee (subject to change) and you might not have your choice of apartments.
Sublets
You can request to sublet your rental unit to another party, typically during Summer Session, provided that the other party meets Student Family Housing eligibility requirements. Your request must be submitted and approved in writing at least 30 days before the new person can take occupancy. You maintain responsibility for the rent and the condition of premises.

Pet Policy
Except for fish and amphibians, pets are not allowed in Student Family Housing apartments. Fish and amphibians must be contained at all times in aquariums with capacities of up to 29 gallons and containing no more than 10 gallons of water. All other pets are prohibited for health and safety reasons and to prevent property damage.
