If you intend to move onto campus in the fall before your scheduled arrival date, you will be charged an early arrival fee of $18.00 per day. All early arrivals must be pre-approved. For further early arrival information, please contact UHDS at (541) 737-4771.

All OSU residence halls and cooperative houses will remain open during all breaks.

Residents who are unable to leave campus during break periods are encouraged to live in one of these halls.

Residents assigned to open halls may remain in their rooms during break weeks, but will be assessed at a weekly rate of  $126.00.

There is no dining plan option for break periods. Students scheduled to stay over breaks are encouraged to add to their Orange Rewards account, if they would like to eat on campus during the break.

Rates

If you are an INTO-OSU student, this charge is already included within your housing rate, but you still must sign up for break housing at MyUHDS if you will be in your room over a break period.

Please note: The break rates start on the Sunday after classes end and continue until the Saturday before classes resume. Students who do not want to pay for break housing must vacate before -- and return after -- this time period to avoid fees. Residents that stay past closing on the Saturday after classes end will be charged for week of break housing.

All residents can leave their belongings in their rooms during break periods, as long as their UHDS Contract is current.
