Welcome to Dining Services, winner of the prestigious 2009 Ivy Award. We are a multifaceted food service operation that provides meals and services to the campus community. We welcome all students, faculty and staff to dine in our three dining facilities. We offer menu selections that will meet dietary and budgetary needs of any guest. In addition to our residential meal plans we also accept, Visa and Master Card, OSU Card Cash, checks and cash. Our catering department provides services from the simple coffee service to the extravagant wedding event.
The mission of Dining Services is to provide meals, furnish retail and catering food service to students, faculty, staff, conference groups and campus visitors. As a self-funded auxiliary, Dining Services supports the residential life experience, promotes nutrition education, encourages diversity and cultural awareness, and enhances the image of the University.

All of us in dining are passionate about food and seek to provide a great dining experience for all our guests. Each of our customers are important to us and it is our sincere desire to serve great food in a fun and friendly environment. We have assembled a culinary team that is among the best in the country and we take great pride in the quality and presentation of every item on our menu.
Through professional purchasing practices we are able to buy top quality ingredients at reasonable prices which helps to maintain competitive pricing. As a self-supporting auxiliary, University Housing And Dining Services receives no funding from the University or from the State of Oregon. The dining program is operated very much like a commercial restaurant with all food, labor, utility and administrative expenses covered by revenue generated from the sales of each of our restaurants, catering and conference operations, and convenience stores.
You will find vegetarian options in each of our restaurants on campus as we strive to provide diversified and healthy dining options for our many customers. We serve nearly 2 million meals per year and are committed to sustainable practices; from utilizing leftovers for the Oregon Food Bank, to supporting university recycling and composting programs. Oregon State University is co-founder and participant in the Food Alliance which encourages sustainable farming practices.
I encourage you to visit each of our restaurants and sample the foods from the many cultures represented in our dining centers. OSU's University Housing & Dining Services was the 2009 recipient of the prestegious Ivy Award from Restaurant & Institutions Magazine. The Ivy Award honors the best in the food industry and is given annually to foodservice operations that demonstrate the highest standards of excellence in food, service and overall hospitality. Honorees are selected from across industry segments, including fine dining, hotels and noncommercial operations.
