University Housing & Dining Services, and Dining Services specifically, employs hundreds of student staff in a variety of locations, including: Arnold, McNary, Bing's, Marketplace West, Cascadia Market, Peets Coffee & Tea, and OSU Catering. Dining Services includes student positions in food preparation, retail food sales, dining operations, and customer service. During the summer months, University Housing & Dining Services hosts 90+ groups and over 10,000 guests as part of our Residential Conferences program. Our outstanding student staff are a key part of our success. Our Residential Conferences, Scholar Housing, and Building Services student staff work hard to ensure our guests have a positive experience during their stay, while also preparing for our residents' arrival in September. Our management team is committed to helping each member of our student staff has a positive experience while they learn, grow, and succeed in their position.

Now Hiring: Service Center Staff for Summer and the 2015 – 2016 Academic Year

Join our team

During the summer months, University Housing & Dining Services houses over 600 residents, and hosts 90+ groups and over 10,000 guests as part of our Residential Conferences program. Our Service Center staff are a key part of our success as they prepare conference keys and work with Conference staff to ensure guests have a positive experience during their time at OSU. Service Center staff also accept mail and packages for summer residents, assist with moves in and out of student housing, and serve as a customer service resource while preparing for our academic year residents' arrival in September.

Academic year Service Center staff provide enormous support for students on campus through assistance with mail, packages, keys, and moving in, out, and around campus. Service Center staff provide customer service and assistance for residents, faculty, staff, and guests of Oregon State University.

Service Centers are located in Arnold Dining Center, Marketplace West, McNary Dining Center, Orchard Court, and Weatherford Hall. Staff primarily work at one location, but are able to assist at any Service Center as needed. Service Center staff are supervised at each location by Lead Customer Service Representatives, and all staff receive supervision, direction, and support from the Service Center Operations Coordinator.

Note: All successful academic year candidates are required to attend Fall training from August 24 –28 (Lead Training) and August 31 – September 11 (all Service Center staff training). On campus housing accommodations can be provided during training if needed.

Lead positions will be filled with applicants with prior experience working at Service Centers.
