Fall 2008 New Students, Important Dates to Note
- January 14, 2008:The group selection process signup is available for new students.
- March 14, 2008: Students in groups are eligible to select rooms with other group members.
- March 17, 2008: General housing selection begins for new students.
- June 1, 2008: Priority selection for special groups ends.
- June 1, 2008: Self-selection of rooms ends. Unassigned applicants after this date will be placed by the Assignments & Room Management Office on a rolling basis.
- July 15, 2008: Cancellation deadline for contracted new students. Students who wish to cancel their assignment must indicate in writing by July 15, 2008 in order to avoid a $6 per day cancellation fee. The maximum cancellation fee for Fall, Winter & Spring Terms (228 days) is $1368.
- August 2008: Housing and Dining Living and Learning Newsletter sent to new students.
- September 21, 2008: Residence Halls and Cooperative Houses open for fall term.
- September 29, 2008: Classes begin.
