UESP Podcasts

The University Exploratory Studies Program (UESP) is the academic home for students who have chosen to explore their options prior to deciding on a major. In order to help faciliate this exploration and to assist students in making better use of their resources and options while at OSU, UESP advisors have created Podcasts which will assist students in their major explorations as well as providing the answers to numerous frequently asked questions.

College of Agricultural Sciences

There are 10 different departments offering a variety of majors and options ranging from Agricultural Business Management to Enology & Viticulture to (Pre) Veterinary Medicine within the College of Agricultural Sciences (AgSci). These departments are: Agricultural Education & General Agriculture, Agricultural Resource Economics, Animal Sciences, Crop & Soil Science, Fisheries & Wildlife, Food science & Technology, Horticulture, Natural Resources, and Rangeland Ecology & Management.

College of Forestry

The College of Forestry (COF) offers a small college feel right here on the OSU campus. The COF houses a range of academic programs and offers opportunities for student involvement in this varied and dynamic field of study and work. Academic Programs include: Forest Engineering, Forest Engineering/Civil Engineering (5 year Double Degree program), Forest Management, Forest Operations Management, Natural Resources (an interdisciplinary degree headquartered in the COF), Tourism & Outdoor Leadership (housed on the Cascades campus), Recreation Resource Management, and Wood Science & Technology.

College of Pharmacy

The College of Pharmacy is home to the Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) program and also advises pre-Pharmacy students majoring in General Science with an option in pre-pharmacy. Other undergraduate majors can be pursued by pre-pharmacy students (examples include: Biology, Microbiology, Biochemistry), even those from outside of the science fields (Business, Foreign Languages, etc.) as long as the student successfully completes the various prerequisite courses for admission to a PharmD program.
