About Transmissions
Posted November 19th, 2008 by adminTransmissions from the Ice Sheet is a continuing record of researchers’ travels to some of the most far flung and inhospitable places on the planet to conduct ice core research. The insights they collect from these experiences will help paint a picture of how the earth’s climate has changed in the past – and how it might change in the future.
This blog is not only a chronicle of his day-to-day life, but a means young people interested in science to communicate with a researcher who is working actively on one of the most important issues we face – climate change.
