Oregon Wonders: Crater Lake and Oregon State Parks Art Exhibit

CORVALLIS, Ore. – Oregon State University’s Giustina Gallery is hosting the Oregon Wonders: Crater Lake and Oregon State Parks art show. The exhibit, located in The LaSells Stewart Center, runs Aug. 24 through Sept. 28.

This year the Crater Lake show has been expanded to include Oregon’s many state parks. The show provides artists the opportunity to share their experiences in the great outdoors of Oregon through all mediums.

“This is a great opportunity to view the raw beauty of Oregon through the creative eyes of our artists,” said gallery curator Tina Green-Price. The exhibit is a collaboration with Kevin Clark Studio & Gallery and Pegasus Frame Studio & Gallery.

This is a juried show in which exhibitors may submit up to four pieces per person. The deadline to submit artwork online is Friday, Aug. 7. Submission criteria are available online at http://oregonstate.edu/lasells/oregon-wonders

A reception will take place Friday, Aug. 28, from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m., in the Giustina Gallery, 875 S.W. 26th St., Corvallis. Light hors d’oeuvres and a cash wine bar will be available.
