OSU offers evening of Indian classical music

CORVALLIS - An Indian classical flute recital is scheduled at 4:30 p.m. Sunday, April 26, in Oregon State University's Milam Auditorium. The recital is free and open to the public.

"This event is aimed to educate the public in general and youth in particular about the rich heritage of Indian classical music," said Mohan Choodamani, of the OSU student group, the Society for Promotion of Indian Classical Music and Culture.

About 1,200 of OSU's 14,000-plus students are from other countries and 34 of the university's nearly 300 student groups are multicultural organizations.
