CORVALLIS -- Joanne Dodgson has been named sexual assault support services coordinator at Oregon State University.

Dodgson will work in OSU's Counseling and Psychological Services office to provide education and consultation to students, as well as work with community and university agencies that serve students.

"I've been making time to meet with people to determine how we can best meet the needs of the campus community," said Dodgson, who began work on Sept. 8.

Before joining OSU, Dodgson directed a program to halt alcohol abuse at the University of Colorado at Boulder. She has also worked as a counselor at Western Michigan University.
