CORVALLIS - The Department of Mathematics at Oregon State University recently made several awards to leading undergraduate and graduate students.

The students and the honors they received included: PORTLAND: Ryan E. Gould (97206), a senior in mathematics, the Joel Davis Award for Excellence in Math, and an Actuarial Science Award REDMOND: Gregg Burk, a senior in mathematics, an Actuarial Science Award WEST LINN: Lori MacKenzie, a senior in mathematics, the Gary L. Musser Award for Outstanding Achievement in Math; Kevin R. Stoller, a junior in mathematics, the Joel Davis Award for Excellence in Math

CALIFORNIA FAIR OAKS: Anton Kaul, a doctoral candidate in mathematics, the William F. Burger Graduate Teaching Award

COLORADO STEAMBOAT SPRINGS: Julia D. Berglund, a doctoral candidate in mathematics, the William F. Burger Graduate Teaching Award
